Melbourne based design firm, InForm Studio, show us why blonde brick should not just be relegated to the 80′s and forgotten about in this Sorrento house on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. Working in association with Pleysier Perkins Architects, InForm Studio have created a series of stepped pavilions to ensure the best use of the undulating landscape while also creating separate and defined living spaces.

A simple and refined palette of blonde brick and charcoal tones have been used to achieve a modern, contemporary look for the exterior. Inside the colour palette of charcoal and white is continued and mixed with exposed brick walls in the living areas. The owners of this holiday home, Maggie De Chalain, and partner Tony have styled their house using a mix of timber coloured ceramics and upholstered furnishings throughout.

The main pavilion that flows out to the pool houses the living and kitchen area along with both the master and guest bedrooms and ensuite, while the second pavilion, linked by a central deck, hosts two further bedrooms and a bathroom. The perfect layout for a holiday house full of guests.
